Fishing The Drop Shot

I have a really hard time gaining confidence fishing the drop shot. I know it's a great way to catch fish but really can't stick with it very long. I love throwing a shakey head though...so now I use a shakey head as my drop shot weight and can fish it all day if need be. I have caught fish on both at one time.  Give it a try!

I have done that with jigs before, great idea

So instead of using a drop shot weight use another weighted bait like a jig/ shaky head? I think i know what im trying next time im out!

I fish as a non boater in my club and the first time i seen  this i thought my boater was crazy but it actually ended up working out cuz i had a straight drop shot and wasnt getting ne thing and he kept catching them on the shakey head below his drop shot. By the end of the day we both just had a straight shakey head on. This rig helps to tell you how the fish want it that day.
