Water temp: 59-60°
Clarity: 8'+

Got on water last night about 4:00PM, and started catching them immediately on the jerk bait.
Then caught some on jig.  moved into the coves, and the water cooled and got only one fish (on JB).
Back out to main lake, and caught them some more, on JB, jig, and this time on a KVD 2.5 silent in Blue Gill.

Tried the spinner bait, with no luck.

if the water can warm some this week, that place will be on fire next weekend.  Unfortunately, the water is not warm enough right now for a wave of spawners to move up with the full moon.  looks like the spawn in NE will go into June.

Thanks for the report.  I've actually had my best success at that lake, (only got to fish it 4 times) with a pearl green shad R.C. 1.5 rattler.  My favorite crank, and they don't even make them anymore.  >:(

When they are on, you can go to town with a Norman Little N, in Red Ear; Booyah spinnerbait in Pixie Dust; Popper, and weightless Senko.

I am hoping they will be nuts when my dad gets here in two weeks.
