Nice & Cold weekend for the 1st Tournament in the Rocky Mountain Team Series at Pueblo.  1st day started off Great we had the fish figured out by 7 and had 4 keepers in the well. But we had a fuel line problem that took away the last 2 1/2 hours of fishing getting towed into the weigh in. I got the 2 nice spots I am holding and my partner got the other 2 keeps for 9.34lbs put us in 4th going into today.  Went to boat shop go there 15 min before close. The kid was good enough to stay to try to figure out what i needed to fix it. I was looking for a brass or metal barbed tube he only had plastic but assured us it would work until we could get the right part.  Well this morning we are waiting for our number to go and the gas melted the plastic part! So hence we are using the trolling motor and staying near the north ramp and tires fishing. Don Speas who was one of the creaters of this Series was kind enough after he ate breakfest to run to Lowes to get us the part I was looking for.  While waiting I was throwing a trout jerkbait at the tires and got hammered by a nice LM. She went 3.89lbs and was are only keeper for today. Got the boat running around 9 which didnt help us all of our bites came early. But that Big LM got us Big Bass for 2nd day and 7th out of 40 boats.  $560 total.  It was a blast! Sorry for the long Read guys. Nest is Wilson KS in a couple weeks!  Hope weather gets better tired of the COld! and so are the Fish!
