Made it out to Chalco last night before the wind storm hit; the wind is incrdible right now so I'm glad I made it out while I could.  Only caught 2 on a KVD 1.5 w/o rattle.  Not too much to brag about, but I was happy with the action of the bait and will be able to get more work out of it this weekend at a local farm pond.  Managed 3 more on a jig and a shakey head.  Pretty slow day, but catching 5 bass at a small, heavily pressured public lake is a good way to spend the evening to me.  All fish were caught on or near wood.  Both crank bites came only after running the crank into the wind, and the other 3 came from the same area working slooooow.  Good luck to anyone getting out this weekend.  If anyone in the area ever wants to make a trip, let me know; I'm usually fishing solo.
