shore fishing

i live in chester MD and don't have access to a boat but i was wondering if there are any good ponds in Delaware that would be worth the trip?or if anyone knows of a bass club that has a mix of Del. and MD fisherman that has a spot open for a co angler

Ricky, there are a few ponds in DE with decent shoreline access, but they are beat to death. A big thing around here for some reason are the stormwater retention ponds, don't overlook them! If they have any depth and hold water throughout the year, they probably have fish. And more often than not, good fish!
