Our next event will be on the Red River, out of RRSM, on April 16th. I will not be able to make this one, as the wife is dragging me to a wedding.  Keith Simpson will be the acting Tournament Director for this event, please give him a helping hand if he needs it. Take-off is scheduled for 6:15am and weigh-in is at 2:30pm.

I think we had a conflicting weigh-in time with another club at RRSM...next year ALL the weigh-ins will be at 3:00pm, to prevent confusion!  :-*

Since our 7 Pound Pot was broken on Grand Bayou, everyone is eligible to enter it at the Red River tourney...even new members! $10/boat and the pot keeps rolling over until someone breaks it!

Registration and weigh-in will be at the lawn panel between the store and the ramp, I have arranged this with the owners of RRSM and they know all about it.  Quad-cities will be using the pavilion, and their weigh-in starts at 3:15pm.  Our weigh-in is at 2:30pm, so we should be about done when they start showing up. If ya'll have any questions, shoot me a PM.

Todd, I'll go ahead and ask here since a Cross thread hasn't been made yet. Some of us that fish the Poorman's also fish the TnT's. We will be fishing the Thurs. evening before the tournament. If we go by our normal off limits time, we will be DQ. Just wondering if we can make the off limits Thurs. night instead of Wed. so those of us that fish both can make both.

Hmmm, I was hoping that we'd hit an off week and this wouldn't be an issue...but I guess that didn't happen.  Do the TnT's require you to release all fish, with someone supervising the release?

We don't touch the fish after we place them on the scale. The directors release the fish after they are weighed. We weigh right on the edge of the water, so all they have to fo is turn around and dump them.

I'm cool with changing the off-limits until Thursday at dark for this event...I'll post that when I put up the Cross Lake thread on UB and our website.  After looking at their website, I didn't realize that so many of our members fished the TnT's.
