A reel cleaning and maintenance seminar has been added to the list of presenters. This seminar is geared more towards the younger anglers, but of course is open for all...

As expected, the Fishing Flea Market sponsored by Reel Expectations is really taking off in its first year. With less than a month to go, nearly all of the tables have been rented. Due to the size of the commons area in the high school we should be able to accomodate right around 50 or so vendor tables. For the last remaining tables, contact Bob Moody at (302)270-3572.

Our seminar schedule has been finalized with the following speakers and material:

9:00 Bob Wallace, Div. of Fish and Wildlife, and Delaware B.A.S.S. Conservation Director will discuss the state of Delaware's public waters. "
10:00 Capt. Brian Barnes of Life Outdoors Unlimited will discuss Eastern Shore fishing, topics like the nanticoke, Choptank, and Wicomico, as well as techniques, methods, and tidal influence.
11:00 Former Collegiate Bass Fishing Champion Trevor Knight will talk about College Bass Fishing and highlight his experiences
12:00 Bob Wallace will conduct a reel maintenance seminar
1:00 Trevor Knight talks about breaking into the professional ranks, as an angler.
2:00 Chris Erby, owner of H2O Fishing Films will talk about fishing and filming, and highlight his current outdoor shows "The Rundown" and "Under the Gun", a strategic fishing game show.

Also, there will be boats on hand, both new and used, for sale to the public.

The Fishing Flea Market was awesome. Had great reviews coming from the vendors and visitors. In all, Reel Expectations pulled in about $1600! I also understand a few of the vendors had some really knockout days, including Fish Herman with Red Mill Tackle.

This show is definitely on again for 2012!
