Posting some pics of my all electric powered tracker grizzly, hopefully to win a Dobbins Rod!!!  I made this boat from scratch seven years ago and I just decided to give her a little refresh.  I am adding two large storage compartments, by removing the floatation in the rear of the boat, getting new 20 OZ. carpet, mini jack plate, stick steer and the list goes on.  She might look pretty messed up right now but the finished product will look super nice.  Its a 1648 Tracker Grizzly, powered by a 48 Volt Torqeedo electric motor, 70lb thrust motorguide on the bow, lowrance hds 7 on the bow and hds 5 on the stern, 40 gallon livewell, lighted compartments, rod box that holds as many rods as you could possibly have and tons of storage.  Basically its on giant deck with a huge tackle store underneath.  I will post pics as I go.  Should be too long till its back on the water again!!!

Here is a picture before I started ripping her in pieces.  Dont worry you will be back and better then ever.

Sounds as if you got a winter project schedule there.
I look forward to seeing the boat pictures as you get things back together and ready for the lake.

Nice thats some quality work
With that 48 volt doing youre normal amount of travel how often do you have to charge your Batteries
it seems like they would last a while I know 36 volt doesnt draw many amps so 48 must be under that

It depends on how much throttle I use.  We have some huge electric only reservoirs here in Maryland.  Liberty Reservoir is by far the biggest.  I can go from the top to the bottom, which is about 8 miles.  So going up and back is 16 miles and that is a hike for sure.  Boat does just a hair under 7mph which is moving for an electric boat.  I would say on a normal day Im probably running about 6 to 8 miles.  I place on charge for about 6 hours and she is all ready for the next day.  Batteries get charges ever trip.  Im running 8 - 6 volt golf cart batteries.

How did you get those logos on the carpet? I have a small project in mind for my tracker and would like to get the tracker logo in the carpet.

They do great work.  You will need to tell them you have authorization from Tracker to use their logo.  They wont ask any other questions but they will ask.

I wasnt going to place the logos on the boat but I messed up a small piece of carpet that I couldnt fix.  So instead of redoing the whole thing I decided a nice LOWRANCE vinyl floor sticker would work well.  It blossomed into my fishing club logo etc....   It does look nice if I may say so myself.

Check out Capri Carpets.  They supply most major top name bass boat companies with carpet.  Its the real deal.  Great prices and great service.  I have ordered several times from them and they are awesome.  http://www.capricarpet.com/p-115-ship-and-shore-16-oz-20-oz-or-24-oz-face-weights.aspx

See previous post above for where to buy.  They are just big vinyl stickers for carpet.  Peel and stick.
