The Houston Oilman's Bass Club (HOBC) has around 60 members.  All members derive all or a portion of their income from oil and gas activities.  We place emphasis on conservation as most of our 10 tournaments per year are paper tournaments.  Camaraderie is our strong suit, but competition for our Top 6 is strong.  We are a B.A.S.S. Federation club and field at least one Top 6 Team for the Texas B.A.S.S. Federation State tournament.

HOBC has been around since 1985 and was started with 15 members.  HOBC supports the Paralyzed Veterans Association (PVA) Texas bass tournament event and CastingKids. Over 50% of our members participate in several annual Oilfield tournaments that benefit the Texas Children's Hospital.
