Can anyone pour a 1/16 oz football jig head w/ a very small bass hook, perhaps a 1. I fish a river that has a lot of small smallmouth and spots that you will catch the bulk of. My problem is they are small enough to wear the hook on the strike king 1/16 shakey head is even to big. If possible I would like to purchase a sizable amount and painted brown or dark/pumpkin green.

Thanks,

Jon

By the way I typically use a 3" Berkley Craw (with a little bit of the body bitten off) if that helps gauge the size hook I would need

i agree, if you use them alot, go with doing it yourself.  you'll spend 12 cents a head instead of a dollar a head.  also, you can get your lead for free at your local tire shop, just melt down the wheel weights.

no those arent skinny bear jigs in my avatar ive been making that jig since 1985 they didnt start making there verison til early 90s i was the first too make the puffball jigs when we were using square rubber then round rubber but i also make the jig in puffball in fine round rubber and a soild silicone puffball jig. before i started making this jig brawley bugs were in the same class of jig back in the 70's but a much smaller verison i can make the puffball jig on a 1/32 oz jig head as big as a nickel just think of it as a cushball
