Hello, I was told about this site from Steve vonBrandt, I know that Mother Nature has been perusing around our site lately and I have been spending some time here as well. Looks like a lot of great information and a very good member list that is growing all the time. Look forward to spending more time here as winter is setting in and need to read things about bass fishing till the lakes thaw out and we can do it all again. I look forward to meeting with other members here and talk about bass fishing.

Kevin, I am glad that you stopped in to meet everyone. I am sure that from your posts on S&K you will fit right in here as well. Congratulations on the Pro Staff of the Year Award, that is great! Welcome aboard and come on in and join us. I can see both our member lists getting along great we both have some great folks!

I found this site via a club I have fished with. I have been her for what, is it two years Mother Nature?...This site is growing by leaps and bounds (literally), and has some of the greatest members known on the face of the planet, not to mention an administrator who is beyond AWESOME. I found the site on Google, was looking for info about Webster Lake, and found the posts in the NE - Mass section.

Welcome again Dave I found this site back in October on my NAFC BB when Fisher Mom told us about it

then Mother Nature droped by there and joined the NAFC BB and after she posted over there a few times I liked her style so I came over to check her BB out and I've been here ever since.

So stick around and I know you will like everyone here too.

Dave, was it the right Webster Lake? I think "Get the Net" is from up there and posts occasionally about that lake. Hopefully you will enjoy the site and post more info about the fishing in your area.

Yes, it was the correct Webster Lake, and the post was from "Get the net". Hopefully I will be able to post some big fish (or at least big stories) about Webster Lake next summer. Gonna try to get on on the ice (if it every freezes over), maybe something find something to post about then.

I hope you get to do some of that ice fishing. I would love to here about it. Never done it and it seems very interesting to me. I would think those fish would be in some sort of state of suspension and not really alive in temps like that.

They can be fairly active, but nothing like when there is warm weather. The bass will hang out 10-15ft deep or so, but if you put a shiner in front of them they can't resist. We get a few yellow perch, some trout/salmon too, so it is kinda exciting not knowing what you are pulling up through the ice.

I found it as a link while I was "fishin'" online; either ONL or Bill Dance's links pages.
Online fishin is somthing I do on a Sunday when the weather keeps me away from the water and the fish!

Glad I found it, 'cause it looks like "home."

I am a flooring installer So I get to meet alot of people around the state of Louisiana .I met this Man ( Fogy) Who I found to be the kind of guy you could fish with and not have to worry about explaining why you came back a man short lol.He is a very nice man. Yea this place is cool. I haven't had alot of extra time to fish lately but I do miss it. I like to go with my Dad to toledo and the last time we went he took my son and I to the Red river and man it was like they knew how to jump in the boat. Dad out fished us that day but I caught onto what baits he was using and almost caught up with him. But the fishing wasn't as important as spending the time with the 3 of us. Now the fish fry went real nice. I also got to tan a bit too, you know the red color.My son caught the big one of the day it came in at a little over 4 lbs. But he only bought to the table a couple more.It was a good day too nice and calm and not to hot.

CHICO you couldn't be more right than when you said "But the fishing wasn't as important as spending the time with the 3 of us." The time we spend with our loved ones takes presidence over anything else because we never know if it will be the last time we will get to be together. But what better way to spend it than fishing

I was telling Fogy about a forum that I am involved with that is mainly for pc gamers Gamemecca.net . I posted a link in the Outlaws section , There are a few friends of Mine that are heavy hitters when it comes to fishing. After visiting here I realized it is alot like that forum but without alot of clans and such. So hopefully I can get a few guys and gals from there over to here. I also sent my dad a link to here as well. My brother lives in Houston and I am trying to get his email address to send it to him as well. COOL SITE.
