Hi I'm new here. Currently living in Colorado, I'm moving to Pittsburgh in September. I'm relatively new to bass fishing, I get skunked a lot when I targetting for bass. Hope to learn from this forum.

My name is Blake and I am from south Louisiana. I am Married to the most wonderful and beautiful woman on earth. We have 2 beautiful girls 9 and 2. Me and my 9 yr old love to fish and my wife and 2 year old love to ride in the boat.
On the 22nd Thur the 24th myself and my 9yr old will fish the McDonald's Big Bass Splash in Toledo Bend. All I would like to see is My 9 year old bring a fish to the scales. Wish us luck.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you and thanks in advance for any info.

Grettings - Glad to be here!!

Don Deavers from Gainesville, GA (Lake Lanier). I'm a middle school teacher and coach. Have a wonderful wife of 16 years and twin 12 year old boys. Love to fish even though I just downsized from my Triton to an electric-only jonboat. My time on the water is limited now with boys in sports and don't like to fight the water gnats and yachts on the weekends. So, I can fish electric only waters without the crowds

Once my boys graduate, I'm sure I'll venture into the monthly payments of a bigger boat - look forward to learning from you and fishing with you along the way!!

Thanks Don for sharing a little about your self it helps us to get to know you better....growing boys and sports will cause the fishing to suffer some I have been there....it is all Worth it the memories you make will last a life time....I downsized when my boys got into sports...and I have no regret I enjoyed it.....and you still can get out and do some fishing every now and then is great......thanks for sharing enjoy the site........

Dropped by to take a look at this site and may continue to visit and share a few tips now and then. Known as Oldschool elsewhere, however that name wasn't available here. Recognized a few names and the format is familiar. West coast CA bass fisherman and been around longer than organized bass fishing, authored a few magazine articles and target giant bass.

Hi,

My name is Jordan and and am a proud member of the US Air Force. I am stationed at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, LA. I have taken up the sport of bass fishing recently. I've been trying to do some fishing around the Shreveport area, but haven't had much luck. Pretty soon I'll be moving to Del Rio, TX right down the road from Lake Amistad, so I'm pretty excited about that. Any tips or hints on the art of bass fishing would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Hi,
My name is Jan. I am 45 years old. I moved to Texas in July of 2003.

That would be the hottest time of the year here. I love Texas. I am a widow. I met Pferox on line through a widows group. We started IM'ing each other and became friends immediately. In March that friendship became alot more and now I am married to my best friend. We were married on May 4, 2007.

I am originally from Montana, with a few stop offs in Michigan, Wyoming, Nebraska/Iowa, and finally stopped in Texas. I grew up in the Bitteroot Valley, which is south of Missoula, MT about 30 miles. I lived in Wyoming about 6 years, not much there but dust and sage brush. Ok, wind and freezing cold temps. I moved to Nebraska/Iowa in 1987 and lived there for 17 years. There are some really great lakes around Omaha,NE area. I did quite alot of boat fishing. Life then took me to Texas. Life has been pretty crazy so haven't had much time to check out fishing holes yet. However now that I have some competition.....I can even bait my own hook....hmmm.

I have to admit I am a little handicapped. I have a few issues with holdin on to those slimy fish while trying to get the hook out of their mouths. I have to be nice enough that he will take care of that for me. I don't mind baiting hooks with worms or minnows, but holdin on to a fish.............thats a whole nother thing.

Hello! My name is Ron and I live in Ohio. Most of my bass fishing is on farm ponds around my home or in the river where I love to catch smallies. I've been fishing since I was old enough to walk and I'm still at it-though not as often as I would like to be.When I'm not fishing I can usually be found with a guitar somewhere as that is one of my passions. I live a blessed life with a wonderful wife and daughter to keep me out of too much trouble. I love to spend vacations in Florida but have yet to have an opportunity to fish there yet

. Usually Bonita Springs/Naples area is where we go.
Glad to have found this community.

Greetings from the mountains of Alabama. I'm Karen. I'm a rookie on the ESPN Women's Bassmaster Tour. It has been an eye opener year. I can fish, but am challenged when it comes to managing the boat. I've had boat issues - oh about 3 of the first 4 tournaments. I fish from my fathers' boat. It's about 9 years old, but we've hauled in alot of nice bass from the old boat. He and I fished tournaments together for as long as he's owned the boat. I am a Christian Angler. I live near many lakes in Alabama. I grew up on Guntersville Lake, and now live within an hours drive to Neely Henry, Logan Martin, Lake Martin, Wedowee and Weiss.
