Hi everybody. My name is Steve Varner and I live in Davis Ca about 13 miles out of Sacramento. I am single and happy that way. I am a maintenance supervisor for a large property management firm.I have been fishing since I was a kid. Back then it was for trout on the Kern river. Now that I live in N. Ca I can fish for just about anything that swims. I have owned several boats in the past but a recent turn of events has me being the proud owner of a Skeeter bass boat. I also love to hunt turkey, pheasant and pig but my real passion is bass fishing. I found this site just farting around the web for bass forums and I am glad that I did. I think I can learn alot from these boards. I am a life member of the NAFC as well as the NAHC. I am also a charter member of BASS and the California rifle and pistol association. Hi all. I'm Jerry from Washington. Been fishing almost 42 years. My passion is bass but I'll fish for "other" species when I have to, to fill the fishing itch. I fish from a float tube and do quite well in all the lakes in the NW. I'll fish anytime, anywhere. As long as I'm fishing...I'm happy. Great site btw

I've been on here for about 7 weeks and haven't got round to introducing myself yet, sorry for the delay

My name is Steve and I am 31 years old. I am from England originally, but I am now living (with my wife and daughter) and working in South Korea as a contractor for an American Oil Company.
I have been fishing for almost 20 years, mainly fly fishing English lakes etc for Brown and Rainbow Trout.
My passion now is lure fishing (and sometimes fly fishing) for Bass here in Korea and have been fishing for them for only one year.

Steve I feel like I have know you all my life if I was a little closer to you I would learn how to fly fish...since I can't..... you know what to do (catch one for me) welcome and enjoy Steve and Jerry.......

I get the same feeling, it must be this close family we are around here.
I am going to try and get over to the states some day for a fishing only vacation, and I'd really like to meet up with some of you guys while I'm there.
BTW, I caught three for you yesterday, have a look in catch of the day.

Hey guys,

My name is Keith and I am 32 and married with a 9 month old lttle girl. I fish Lake Fork in Texas almost exclusively. My wife was nice enough to get me a year round private RV spot and RV in Big Mustang on the penninsula about 2 years ago. I go there to just get away and fish quite a bit (a little less since the little one came). I was also lucky enought o get a boat for Xmas this year so I am now trying to find some alternate spots (I won't say better because Mustang has been very good to me). This site seems really good since most sites no one will share spots. After my second post I got a nice reply on some good spots to check out. I plan to try to meet up with the group that is going out there in a couple of weeks.

My name is James, I live in the Lansing, MI area and have been bank trash for going on 19 years (since I was 5), this will be my first year fishing tourneys with a friend of mine who purchased a fix-er-upper boat this year, major upgrade from our 12ft orange flat bottom with a 5hp motor

Hoping to gain some momentum in the next few years and hopefully start fishing more tourneys and get my own boat, anyone needing a partner for any tourneys please give me a holler, would love to get as much knowledge as possible from fellow fishermen/fisherwomen

My name is Merle been fishinf for 50 years. I am 53 years young live in northern cali and have some awesome bass spots around me. Retired truck driver drove 48 states and have had the pleasure of fishing some awesome areas on the other side of the river.

Well figured I'd join the group here. I'm kinda new to the forum been here about a month. Live in Florida for the time being, moved here from Missouri July of 2006. I'm 28 almost 29 married to Jacklyn for almost 8 years and just love to fish. Trying to go all out next year and do nothing but fish in several different tournament trails and make the living that I need to doing it. So we will see what happens.
