~c~ ~c~My name is Don, I am from Nebraska, I fish Iowa lakes mostly, with Missouri coming in a close 2nd..Non-boater at this time.. Have learned alot from the backseat. Fish Club and Draws mostly.

Mike Cork

Skeeter 101 which club do you fish with? Back seating is the place to learn, I highly recommend when someone is new to an area or just getting started that they fish non boater for a bit, definately worth it. It's good for an old salty dawg to do it once in a while too, can be quite rewarding :-*

Welcome to the site, looking forward to seeing you around the forums ~c~

My name is Mark Mason and I'm 36 years old. I'm from Belleville, IL which is just about 20 minutes across the Old Miss from St. Louis. Started tournament fishing in the early 90s and am currently sponsored by B&D Custom Lures and Fish Hedz. My favorite lakes are Table Rock and KY.

BUDFIELDS

Hello Friends..

My name is Bud Fields. I live in Galveston, Indiana. That is approximately 75 miles North of Indianapolis. I am an avid bass tournament angler and I also enjoy deer hunting with bowhunting equipment and muzzleloader.

I retired from Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo, Indiana after 35 years where I was involved in Quality Control. I am now the outdoor columnist for the Kokomo Perspective newspaper where I have a weekly featured column entitled, "OUTDOORS WITH BUD FIELDS." I am also an Active member of the Hoosier Outdoors Writers Association as well as writing articles for a number of websites and hunting and fishing publications.

I participate in 80-90 bass tournaments a season as well as having the opportunity to conduct numerous Deer Hunting and Fishing seminars for area WalMarts, KMarts, Rural King Stores, Dunham's Sporting Goods Store and area tackle centers. I really enjoy the speaking engagements for schools, churches, youth correction facilities and organizations.

Bass fishing is probably the most enjoyable and at the same time, frustrating sport but I NEVER pass up the opportunity to get out there and have a fun time matching wits with the fish. Sometimes... they even let me win!!!

I am looking forward to making lots of new friends here and trying to expand my glossary of tips and techniques. I hope to share some of the things that work for me and even throw in a few NEW suggestions.

Brent Henke here.  Moved to Bossier City, LA in August.  Previously lived in Gulfport MS the previous 4 years.  Been in the USAF for 15.5 years, I am originally from southwest Iowa.  Got in my first bass club while stationed in Mississippi but have been fishing since I can remember thanks to my Dad. Only fished ABA tournaments since I have been here but I only get two weekends off per month so it works so far.  Have not fished any of the lakes around here yet because of how low they are and how unfamiliar I am with them.  Fish the Red mainly because Clark's is only a fifteen minute drive from my house so that makes it real convenient for me.

Bass4Fun

My name is Mike Webb, I'm age 50 and I live in Orange, Texas which is east of Houston 2 hours on the Louisiana border. I have been in Orange my entire life and fish the Sabine river, Toledo Bend, and Sam Rayburn. My wife of 30 yrs and I have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren. I fished lots of bass tournaments during the 80's and some in the 90's, everthing from local club events to Redman, Angler's Choice, B.A.S.S.(once in 86') and other tournaments on Toledo and Rayburn. My largest bass to date is a 10 lb 6oz bass caught on Rayburn on a Rogue in 2' of water. I also did some part-time guiding on Toledo Bend for Fin and Feather Lodge during the mid 80's. These days I mostly just fish for fun and must admit the competitive spirit is hard to let go. I hope to retire with a Chemical company in the next few years and spend more time with the grand kids and fish more.

My name is Steve. I am from Duncannon (Near Harrisburg), Pennsylvania. I am new to the area, but not the Susquehanna River. I have been camping and boating on the river most of my life further south (around York area), and just moved to the new area due to job location out of College. I will be looking to get a jon boat next year for the river, but for now have to rely on friends to take me out. I also trout fish a bit (when I have the time), and hunt. I found the site through a google search, and it looks really great. Can't wait to get some dialogues goin!!

Welcome again Steve and glad to see your finding your way around here  ~c~ ~c~

Charles E. White

Hello Bass Anglers!

My name is Charles E. White and I have fished for bass for 50 years.  I have owned two tackle stores in my life and have caught an estimated 6000 bass with the biggest one being 12 pounds 14 ounces.

I kept the 12 pound 14 ounce bass because it would have died anyway and I got it mounted. I usually just take a picture of the bass and release them.  It did will a big tournament for me though.  I have been an advocate of catch and release before B.A.S.S. even was invented.   My family and friends would act like I was nuts for throwing bass back, as way back then almost everyone ate them.

I met the World's Top Water Fishing Champion about 26 years ago and fished with him quite a while.  That was an experience.  He politely showed me I didn't know as much as I thought LOL
I also have fished with the pro's in Florida even had a few get upset with me for catching more fish than them and we weren't even in a tournament.

I am sure I am going to like it here, seems like friendly people and I got a warm welcome :)
