Do you ever just open and piddle with your tackle  and tacklebox, even though you have no trip planned?
Well that's me, my name is Mitch and I live in N. Hollywood. My wife and I both enjoy fishing, but since moving here from Cent. Florida, we haven't been able to fish nearly as much. I'm originally from N.C. and have spent the last 10 yrs between Orlando and LA. My biggest fish only around 10lbs. but i even enjoy catching the small ones.
I'm hoping to make friends here, learn more about our sport and maybe even pick up a fishing buddy or 2.
I look forward to hearing from all of you at one time or another.
Have a great day, thanks for letting me join.

Welcome Cheetah - glad to have another Florida fisherman here with us!! ~c~

Well, my name is Jeremy Sonnier, from south louisiana, now live in the central part. Been working here for for the past 7 1/2 years. That's what brought me here. Just love to fish. Trying the hunting thing, but just doesn't work for me. Will be getting out of the hunting club to stick to fishing. That is what i do best. Picked it up from my uncle at an early age, althought it wasn't often that i went. It was something i could not let go. Normally fish by myself, all other times are with the brother-in-law and wife. Majority of the time i fish the central part of louisiana.

I'm a retired eng..   I made my living in M.C. racing for 45 years, owned an R.and D. shop Specializing in Motocross and Roadrace bikes.
Now I specialize in getting out of the house to go FISHING.   I have allready decided that I really like Basshfulbob, He's older than I am.   Although not by much.   He's probably one of those guys who still has all his hair doesn't wear glasses and has all his teeth too.   Oh well.   I fish the San Diego River Bottom lakes (ponds) mostly.   They are usually very good fishing.    This year we either had a kill off or they changed thier habits considerabley.   No problem there's allways tomorrow!    I do most of my fishing out of an inflateabel raft or a tube.   Raft in the winter (it's warmer), tube in the summer.    Confirmed bass fisherman.

My name is Mike Clark and live in the DFW area in north Texas. I fish as often as I can and am prepping for my next trip to Fork. Fished Monticello three weeks ago and hope to get back to Fork in the next week or so. It's big bass time of the year and the temps have been kind this winter. Just wish we'd get some rain soon. All the area lakes are really down a so boating caution is advisable. Born in Missouri, married a Texas girl 38 years ago and have been seriously bass fishing just the past six years.

OutdoorFrontiers

Well, I live in northeastern Wisconsin and am the father of 4 girls and one boy.  Luckily, we just shipped the last off to college last month so I'm getting some much needed quiet time (such as it is) at home.  I am also the grandfather of two beautiful little girls and the mother is even one of my married kids!   :shocking:

My "full-time" job is being a firefighter/EMT for the City of Rhinelander, but my schedule there allows me a fair amount of free-time to play.  So, to fill in the hours in between, for the past 12-13 years I have also been a licensed fishing guide, primarily for muskies, largemouth and smallmouth bass.  I also build custom rods, write outdoor articles, edit articles, own a website (http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com) and am the producer/host of a television show, "Steve Huber's OutdoorFrontiersTV."

I love to fish and do so on the rivers up here usually before the ice is off the lakes, and fish right until Ice-Up in the fall.  Then, the boat gets parked and I pick up a bow or rifle.  An avid hunter as well, I've hunted in 5 states, 3 Canadian provinces and last July went on safari in South Africa!

I'm a performance bassboat enthusiast as well.  When my wife met me, I owned a 14' boat with a 1963 10hp outboard.  I upgraded to a 16'er with a 40, to a 17' and a 75.  Then I decided "enough's enough" and made the jump to a 19' ProCraft and a 175.  That was better but still not what I was looking for, so I traded that in on a 21'6" Cobra Coosa 216 with a Merc 250XB.  Now, I'm looking at a FastCat.

My wife thinks I'm nuts...... ~roflmao

TwainGang

My name is Brent and I live in O'Fallon, Missouri.  I usually fish Mark Twain Lake for my "big lake" fishing, but also hit Truman on occasion.  I found out about this place through a  Bass Fishing Home Page post by Lake Fork Tackle.

I work at a pharmaceutical testing lab as a Ph.D scientist, and spent most of my life around northeast Missouri, except for a three year period in Auburn, Alabama when I was getting my Master's degree.

I fish a couple stand alone tournaments and several Superbass tournaments on Mark Twain lake.  I also like to go after crappie, trout and cat fish on occasion as well.  My main boat is a 17 ' Aluma-Weld (now XPress) with 100 hp Merc.  It works for my needs and I don't have to worry about scratching it up!

Good to be on board.

MotherNature

Welcome to Ultimate Bass TwainGang! We have family from up there and will be visiting them this week with our new baby Legend in tow. Mike (hubby) has some stories about Truman and I am sure that the two of you will get to know each other around here. If you need anything just give a holler and there will be help close by. Glad to have you aboard!

Donv

Hi, I'm Don VanTassel.  I'm 43, married and live in the southwestern corner of Massachusetts.  I love fishing, especially bass fishing, especially tournaments.  I'm a club member of the Albany Area Bassmasters (NY) and a NY Fed member.  This year, aside from club events, I'm doing the FLW's Stren Series Northeast Division (my 3rd year here, was Everstart), and am trying the Bassmasters Weekend Series Adirondack Division.  I have no boat, so compete as a co-angler.  I'm sure I'll find an Open or three, as well.  This site looks great, I'm going to go check more out!
