well guys, im about 99 percent sure that my old trolling motor doesnt work.    but i can get a hand held Minn Kotta for 50 bucks.    i have a 19 foot bass boat and i was just wandering if there would be some way i could hook a hand held up to a foot pedal?


im not too overly thrilled about having to even spend 50, cause i am a cheap wad. lol.

Do you currently have a MK on your boat? The only thing I could fathom is taking the foot off the hand control and mounting it on the foot control shaft.

Assuming it's the same brand there is a whole network of gears in the head of a foot control. So I'm with bass buff, the best option would be to swap shafts if it's possible.
