cross lake report

Went to cross today and fished the east end . caught 3 slots and 2 overs on White spinnerbaits in 6-8 foot. Then it rained a bit and seemed to be a cold front cause air was cold in spots. felt wonderful but fish seemed to turn off soon after.

It is usually good right before and during but after a front it sucks usually it is like they turn off.

True that on the tournament bite. Havent tried tomatoe lizards there.

man threw that lizard all night ,didnt get a nibble

just joking We caught 3 fish under 12 inches. On medium size crank bait ch/blue back. Nothing to show here. got skunked as far as weighing in. Grass is super thick where we were catching bass on buzz baits.Trolling motor having trouble slicing through it. I did notice some pretty good size holes in grass. Tried a jig there but no luck time was out.
