Whats up with all of the drama at the TNT's this year? What are your thoughts about last night?

Beagle

A cheater is no better than a thief. I'm glad they have been exposed. They have won alot of money this year and have kept several of us just out of the money. I have nothing for them. I just wonder how long it's been going on.

Congrats on the win Beagle! I'm glad they got caught and you and your dad got the $$$ ya'll deserved! Your night of fishing sounded very interesting!

You are right about them winning a lot of $$$ this year. They got 4th in the Calvary tourney, got a check in all 4 of the Thursday Evening tourneys on the river and got 2nd place in the last TNT they fished this year. I've heard about other finishes as well. Not suggesting that they wouldn't have passed those polygraphs too...but they have been on a roll.

Beagle

Thanks man. And "On A Roll" is an understatement. They are in the points lead in the RMTT's. Well, they were.  PoPo

That's incorrect man. the guy fishes with his son in the RMTT and is down in the bottom half. Now the same two guys that fish TNT also fish the Reeves Evening Circuit and they got a top 5 finish in the first 4 events and were leading the points until they didn't show up for the 5th event and fell 17 or so places.

Lawguy513

If these guys were cheating (I use if because I was not there, and don't know anything about them), that is a real shame; I hope that they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and are barred from every tournament, club, etc, for life.  I placed 5th in the Calvary tournament, and should go find them to make up the difference in my prize money!

beast96z

When someone tells you to hang out for a polygraph and you get in your truck and leave, then you have exposed yourself. The director talked to them on the phone at the ramp and they said they felt like the were being "picked on". What a excuse!

Lawguy513

Pardon the pun, but that does sound fishy! ~fff

So were they disqualified or just not take the poly. If they were DQed they wont be able to fish tourneys anymore if not will they still be Able to fish other tourneys. I know if they were DQed they need to be identified. I sure don't want to fish a tourney with them in it!

Results are already posted on the H&W website.  That was quick!! ~c~

I know if I had just won a thousand bucks, I wouldn't leave for NO reason. I would collect my money!!

Kuntry Jr.

Wow. Not only does it bring a bad name to themselves but its makes people who arent tournament anglers think that we're all just a bunch of liars and cheaters.

hopefully this is the pair that had the fish in the basket. If not there's another team out there. Does anybody know if they were disqualified?

bob_rugratz

I here that,,,, you just try to keep me from that delicious check if i won.  And I don't believe in them myself but I would take one to get my check though. That test was set up before any body even started fishing so they were not getting picked on. It could have been anyone who fished and got the winning sack. We fish thursday night rec so I am sure we have lost some money to them. I will have to check that out.  So did they give the polygraph to the next in line?
If you cast it. They will come.

beast96z

They did not get their prize, so I assume that means you are DQ'd. There names are out there, so anyone who lets them fish knows what they are up against. I "heard" they were going to be allowed to fish the RMTT, but if they placed in the money they would HAVE to take a poly. If I were them, I'd be scared to show my face, much less show up ready to fish a tournament trail. I can't believe anyone would allow them to fish with them. Bob, Beagle was next in line, and he did have to take the poly, along with the BB winner.

ZARASSPOOKY

Good job Beagle.
I dropped by and paid but did not fish because I was convinced there was going to be lightning. I missed all the fun  ~rant

Kyle Kennington

They have been banned from the ABA, all Reeves Marine Tournaments, and I heard the same was true with the Media Trail, as well as all TNT events.

One of them called Mike Echols and asked if they could fish RMTT on Toledo. He said the only way was for them to successfully pass a polygraph no matter where they finished in that tourney and that there would be questions about the happenings at Cross Lake. If they wanted to do that, they were to call Mike and let him know. (This was recommended to Mike based on what BASS would do with the same situation) As of 4:00pm, they did not call him back. It's reported by a trustworthy source that they have admitted to cheating but I don't know the details.

Beagle

Hats off to Todd and his crew.

Beagle....congrates on a great year!!!!!!!

I have not kept up with the drama but from what I can gather....somweone needs to be taken out.

I have been on the recieving end of the contraversy and would never refuse a polygraph.......hang em high

Heard thru the grapevine today that they did admit to cheating as Kyle said. The word I got was that they saw a large bass floating, but still breathing, so they netted it and proceeded to weigh it in. I'm no genius, but that sounds a little made up to me. Sure it's possible, and yes it's cheating, but I imagine they had a story fabricated to not sound "so bad".
