BIG PAPA

Don't really matter to me how they did it! Hang em :-*

Got wind that they fished a monday night tourney on bistineau this past monday and supposedly took 3rd place with a weight of 18lbs and some change. isnt' that about what they had thursday nite too??

Raider

ok guys and gals i, ve had about enough. i want to set the record straight. i caught 3 of those fish on that winning string, i fell out of the boat dipping one of his fish, it was the biggest, and i was the one who pasted the poly-graff. beagles part in this was while i was still in the water if i could go back down and blow bubbles so he could take more pictures.  i guess what i really want to say is that thursday i had no idea that beagle and i would win and i had no idea that we would be poly=graffed and i certainly didn,t think that i was being picked on. i,ve made a lot friends the last 3 years fishing the TNT and other tournys and if i couldn,t have pasted that poly i could have never come out of that trailer and faced ya,ll and i hope everyone that is left feels the same way i do. this is a top notched tournament with top notch people running it and i for one appreciate it.         DAD

And dad has spoken. hehehe. What he didn't tell is that i wouldnt help him in the boat until i took a pic. I'm trying to load it now.

BTW- dad did not end up netting that fish.

If it was the sam guy that usually gives the poly he is really thourogh. The guy had me in there several times and hell by the time I got out of there I was mentaly exausted. One time I think he had me in the room for about 45 min.

beast96z

It is the same guy, and he is very thourough. I've been in there for well over 30 minutes with him as well. He had me thinking I was a cheater by the time I left. lol  lo

Broskee

glad to find out that they got caught or were going to get caught. Just takes the fun out of fishing.

I heard that! Makes me not even want to show up! ~rant

bob_rugratz

yea it's not like they were stealing from some big corporation. Not that thats right either I'm just saying.  They were stealing form friends and even guys who maybe could bearly scrape together enough money to fish. I know it is tough sometimes for me with all the tournaments we enter and gas prices. I don't know if I would even fish a tournament with them in it poly or not. This aint really a second chance deal. He knew what would happen if he got caught. He had a day or two at least to think about what he was doing.

I heard fish were all alive and well, nothing like a floater half dead.
If you cast it. They will come.

Now that these thieves have exposed themselves, I would think that they're done fishing ANY local tournaments.  If someone happens to see either of these two guys at any of the local tournaments, please notify the Tournament Director and fellow anglers...so that they will not be allowed to fish.  And if you find any fish caged or tied up, while prefishing, report it to Wildlife and Fisheries and the Tournament Director.

What boat were they in?

beast96z

I heard it was a White 19-20' Triton with a major scum line problem.

Was that intentional??   lo
It was literal, but now that I think about it, that is kinda funny. lo

In that case, I better go wash my boat... after a day on the Red, my boat developed quite a line, which I did not wash off right away... sure don't want people to associate scum lines with scum bags!!

Broskee

no I am sure the scum bags have been dealt with, very very stupid people to get caught and never really be able to fish a tourney any more. thanks to the fish PoPo we dont have to worry bout folks cheating!
