I got this boat two weeks ago. The title says it's a 1972 Sear's Jon boat, but the model number goes to a 1974 12' Sear's Jon boat. I replaced some rotten wood, sanded, painted, put in seats, oh and a luxuray package. I also got a Prowler T55 troling motor for it with a XPS 175 Deep Cycle battery this last weekend (it flys lol) Plus I named her "Gremlin"

Oh and I forgot to mention that some of rivets were missing so I used a few steel plates and self tapping screws to re-enforce all the corners of the boat, it was real shakey when I bought it, now it's stronger than it was new lol. Other than that not a single leak  v~

Looks good, before you know it you'll be putting a deck on it. I have a good time modifying my boat to fit my needs. Gives a good sense of accomplishment when all is done.

Very nice. I also had a blast decking my 14ft aluminum boat.
