bass fishing at Blackwater

Has anyone tried bass fishing at Blackwater lately?  I know about 5 or 6 years ago fishing was good there, but i haven't been in a long time.  Are there still bass in there, and if so, is it worth it going there to fish?  Also, are there still any of the little silver dollar sized lilly pads in there?
