I told Mike that we just wanted to catch a lot of fish to have some fun. Here is the breakdown.

I had to fish at least 10 minutes off off the dock before I caught the first fish. Started out in the boat down a bank about 100 to 150 yards long. I threw at least 20 times and only caught 8 or 9 on topwater. Fished topwater another 15 minutes or so without catching anything so I switched to a brushhog and pretty much stayed with them the rest of the day. This was tough fishing to say the least, I was going 5 to 10 minutes without a bite( I think this happened twice all day). I didn't keep count of what we caught but it was pitiful, I mean I don't think I caught more than 40 or 50 or maybe 60 fish all day. Terry did get 2 about 6lbs each from the bank on the other lake. If you haven't figured out the sarcasm yet I will clue you in. We caught I would say between 70 and 80 bass on a day that a cold front pushed through gusty winds and heavy rain. The fish ran from 5" through 4lbs with the majority being 2 to 3lbs. I highly recommend this trip if you can manage it. Mike is a great guy and will do everything he can to help you have a good time. I will go back just as soon as I can. I want to thank Brother Scott and Eastwood for this trip, hopefully it will not be a once in a lifetime deal.

Wow, sounds like a great time.  I would love to get in on a trip to somewhere like that were you can catch fish even on a so called bad day you can still do that well.  Thanks for the report ebbc.  Mac
