i'm buying the boat from my step dad. and the price can't be beat. its  a 16ft 1983 procraft probass boat. it has a 1989 85 HP yamaha motor. he said he put a plate on the motor to help plane faster, a keel guard, and 2 batteries up front for the trolling motor. the only thing wrong is the wiring harness for te depthfinder needs to be redone and the momentary button for the trolling motor doesnt work. i'm at work but i ahve pics at home i will try to get on here for you guys. its brown :D with shades of other brown lol. i'm going to get the boat, just wondering where i could find some info on this boat. i have searched and couldnt find anything. for example, total weight, max hp the boat is rated for. things like that.

thanks,
jesse

NADA might have it. Have you tried contacting Tracker Boats as they bought out Pro Craft?

There should be a plate inside the boat that shows how much weight and how many people it will carry. Also max. horsepower rating.
I don't mind not knowing all the answers, but I keep forgeting the danged questions.

I do not think Tracker Marine will be of any help to you, I believe your boat was built when Procraft was still a family owned company pre-tracker marine. Good Luck!!

well i have found out a lil more info. it can hold 4 people with a max HP of 100. nothin on how much it weighs but i just bought a 2010 gmc sierra ext cab z71 with the Aluminum 5.3 v8. with the packages i got it can tow 8200lbs. so i am good now. i'm not worried about the weight.

My 09 Chevy Silverado pulls my 200 SuperPro without any real problem, so you should be in great shape!
