Witch ways up?

We all have things that we have to plug in to charge. Well the wall part is easy . But as I have gotten older it's harder for me to tell which way is up on the component part? My biggest problem was my blue tooth, very small and only goes together one way and it is difficult enough with my fumble fingers.

Take the brightest fingernail polish you have in the house, or like me I just used white, and put a dot on the up side of the plug and this way you can tell right off without fighting it.

This also works great with ceiling fans, ever have the perfect fan setting but want to turn the light on or off? 50 - 50 shot that you'll grab the right pull chain  if you're like me you always get it wrong. I put a dot of white on the light chain, works for me, you might want to use the fan side. Oops now you'll have to remember which one you marked. I use the light side and remember "White Lightning".
