That would be fun, I just goggle it and its 288 miles from Belton = 5 hr. drive
across TX 84 into Louisiana.

The lake didn't look all that big on goggle earth.

I've never been to there either, I'm looking forward to hopefully being able to fish this event.

The lake is not big but it has some fish.    You won't get any complaints from Lock Jaw on that pick.

We booked some cabins and camper spaces. We would have gotton a lodge but naturally TCTC booked them all. There are still a few cabins left if anyone needs to get one.

Hey I would go back to Bistineau, I would probably go a few days early.  I kind of liked the lake. I do however like Grand Bayou better.

Jared, we have 5 lodges booked, however if tctc doesn't need all 5 we wanted them booked anyway to ensure everyone had a place to stay. Some of our guys are taking their campers so we won't need as much space. we were thinging about you.

shawn since this is a new lake to you watch out for your lower unit also.

You'd have to search quite a while to find something to bang your lower unit into on this lake. There is some things to watch out for but for the most part it's wide open.

Humm let me see. I went to the meet on fork a few years ago and it got cold and snowed. I went to the shootout this year and it snowed and got cold how much gear y'all going to offer me not to come to this one  Just kidding I would love to come down and spend a week or 2 and fish some of the great Lakes y'all have down there

Does anyone know if there are maps available?   I guess i could call the USGS but I haven't even located Grande on a map yet.

Shawn I checked a few different places and haven't found any available.

The only map I found was on Google Earth and it doesn't show you anything.
