Ever have one of those days???

Well, went to go fishing yesterday...

Boat fires right up off the trailer, and my buddy parks the truck.  I idle over to pick him up at the dock, idle past the no wake, hit the hotfoot....dies.

Fire her back up, hit the throttle...dies.    So back over to the dock we go...

First off, primer bulb has died (wouldn't hold pressure), the little store at the ramp actually has one in stock, replace it....nothin

Pull off cowl, look at fuel filter (Yamaha EFI so it has a white plastic fuel reservoir I can see right into....leaf in fuel fiter   Pull it out....nothin

Look closer at fuel reservoir....gas don't look right...pump some out...lots and lots and lots of water    Thank god for two tanks, b/c I actually got to switch tanks and go fishing...in the rain

   Sorry to hear.  Sometimes it happens, and all you can do is  and then  and then  some more.  At least you got to go out though.

  when I have one of those days I always try to imagine how bad it would be if I was in a tournament at the time, usually I just start laughing at the image that I just got in my head

Mine was worst, put in started up fine then cut off, started back up beating like a hammer inside, long story short its in the shop now man says  about $3000.00 but could be worst boat could have sunk I guess

Well "AXL 18"....   At least you were able to power her on the trailer....And didn't have to get out and guide her on....
