8 May tournament

Black Bayou Benton was the hat draw lake for our 8 May tournament.  It will be a team tournament 5 fish weigh in at Damn launch site at 3pm.  Keep in mind Black Bayou Benton is a slot lake 14-17 in. let it go. Hope everyone remembers it is the 2nd saturday already we only had 13 at the meeting Thursday.  Later, Mac

Didn't get to make this one, was in Baton Rouge with my daughter for the State track meet.

How was the fishing?

This particular tournament was really slow.  I think there were only 2 maybe 3 5 fish limits weighed in and it was a team tournament.  John Gaydos son caught a good over I think it was 4.5 or so and got big bass and they won 1st with 8lbs and some change, next was Doug with 5lbs and change and it went down fast Paul and I got 7th with 1.77lbs and 2 fish and 10th was Butch with 1 fish at .77 so not to productive if you caught a weigher you were in the points, but the weather was nice, I believe there were 26 people or so fishing.  Hopefully next month will be better, Later, Mac
