Adding livewell controls to the bow.

I have a 01 929 and I am thinking about adding livewell controls to the bow. I think this would be a worth while project. Has any body ever done this and how hard do you think it would be. I'm guesing I would just splice them in the existing wires, but Im not sure. Any thoughts would be great.

I think splicing them together would probably work.  I'm not sure how the timer part of that would work though.

You will have to use relays to get the three way switching effect.If not you will have to turn the switches at the bow off to be able to turn the wells off at the console.

Why are you wanting switches at the bow?My Z9 has the switches at the bow and the only time I use them is to turn off the aerator.It's not that far to the console to the switches there.

No real reason just thought that would be a nice feature to add. I am always looking for ways to improve my boat. I think I will let this one alone for now. Thanks for the help though.

Hi I would bet There should be wires there already. Just figure out the colors. they might be taped to the harness.
