RI Fishing Reports

Not sure if they'll be many more reports for Rhode Island this year maybe some ice fishing reports lol.  I tried 5 lakes on Sunday to get on and all drawn way to far down to launch my boat.  I had the Suburban buriied a few times and couldn't get the old Triton off the trailer.  I might get a few times with a few friends with some smaller boats and I'll post.  I'll definately be going soon to Roger Williams Park to fish the ponds there for Crappie off shore on ultralites.  Lots of fun this time of year they stack up.

It has got to be getting cold up there  Glad to see that you got to at least get out Rob. I will be watching for those Crappie trips. I love to go with Mike when they turn on down here

We have caught some mild weather up here had a few days still in te 60's but now getting colder 30's at night with high 40's to low 50's in the day.  The crappie do turn on up here at this time.  For a long time there were a hand few of us fishing for them at this place.  We have turned more people on to it and its a great way to kill time and have fun.

Ours are usually in the spring. I think it is when the whisteria is blooming  We have a little lake where they are abundant and it is always a great day when we get to go out and fish together. I find that way too often I opt to stay at home on the weekends because I have work to do but I won't miss a crappie trip with Mike...

THis is a quick video report below of our banner day on the 13th.  Things have gotten a little tougher since then but we still managed to pick up 4 nice chunks yesterday morning in the snow and darkness (turkey-day)
