Which part is stuck?  The seat on the pole...or the pole into the boat?  Either way some WD40 to loosen it up and take the pieces apart first!  Then lightly sand or steel wool the male parts.  Wipe clean then apply a very light coating of grease should keep that seat working like new!

Yep both the front and back are stuck in my 2003 929, put so much WD-40 down them I'm not sure if I should smoke in the baot any more   lo I also used a big pipe wrench but the only thing I managed to do was scratch up the poles cause I still can't get them out.   :'(

:-* :-*Buy a Skeeter lo lo lo

Had that problem on an old boat of mine, I was able to finally get it out using a prybar and pipewrench.  It was a 2-man operation, one guy got the prybar between the deck and pedestal, and I started turning the pedestal with a pipe strap wrench.  It took some doing but finally got it out.  My boat had a steel plate attached to the deck so I wasn't worried about punching a hole thru the deck with the prybar.  Good luck

Had this happen in my 901. I had to use a large pipe wrench to get it out. Once out, I used the sanding bit on my dremel to sand out the inside of the base. Worked like new after that. Had to do it to both seats.

Same here, I plan on putting new carpet in this fall and I am replacing the pedestal with the threaded thin ones. I'm glad to see the new boats have them. Seems like there is less complaining about them.

You may want to try and get AEROKROIL. I hear this stuff is 100x better than WD-40.  I use it to clean metal parts and my woodworking equipment and it works great. i have attached a link for you if you like.
