Sorry there Lip I split this board form a fishing report
In the future can we leave the bull out of the fishing reports, it is OK to ask a question on a lake but have you ever look for a report and found a bunch of other stuff there? It is nice to see you this gang enjoying the site and want you all to feel at home.
So if you see lip or any one of us starting off a BS run shoot him a

. I'm trying to get stationed in Sumter SC to be closer to home (shelby NC) and to fish Santee Cooper. Good to know there's some folks from the site down there.

Thats my second choice right now because of the distance from the house. The wife really likes that area also. Her and the boys want to be close to the beach so maybe getting bumped up to #1.

We have two bodies of water close by, Santee of course and also the Cooper River witch is an excellent tidal river with great numbers of fish. We have a pretty tight group of military and prior service military that hang out together down here.

Mitchell...I run a Navy Rec area here on Santee Cooper called Short Stay...The USAF also has a rec area up on lake Wateree, close to sumpter, but they don't have alot there...nice place but small...Wateree has some good fishing on it also...You have several great fishing clubs from Shaw for fishing clubs and when we had our Short Stay club we used to fish with those guys and we would host them when they came down and vice versa when we went up their way...I think you'll like either place...Let us know when ya get closer to time to move and we'll see if we can help ya out in some way...Richard

I'm going to hate to leave louisiana and the TCTC

but its good to know theres people like you and Big Cheese willing to help a fellow bass fisherman. I've fished santee 1 time for catfish but wouldn't know where to start for bass. keep us updated!

We need to try to keep only the fishing reports in the reports threads. Posting lots of chit-chat in here makes it tough to find the reports when you are looking for them...
