You are both nuts, maybe 15. And I will tell ya straight up, If I get on em, Im leaving em for the MBF tourney the following week. Its our first club tourney, have plenty of time to make up ground throughout the year. The Trail only has 4 tournys that Im fishing. Its a marathon, not a sprint, see ya at the finish line in November. Weights are always down for club stuff, Im just hoping for 1 fish, worry about 17lbs, after I get the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th fish in the boat. Im excited, cant wait to get out there with you guys, have fun, and relax.

15lbs is kinda light dude.. I have been out there about 4 days a week for the last 3 weeks.

It was 25mph winds today sustained with gusts to 40.... I wasn't even fishing where I wanted to, and I had 15lbs. The water temps are up to 60*+ by the afternoon.


Last weekend in both Championship Teams and LAPR it took 22lbs +... Championship Teams was 24 and some change...

The only thing that is going to keep the weights down is foul weather. The water is still off colored in some spots, and the clearer water could easily be discolored. So lets keep the fingers crossed that the weather stays stable. I know the mouth of Mattawoman stained back up today from the waves. Not as bad as the Susky, but it's about 3" of visibility.

Oh you guys are going to have some BEAUTIFUL weather for the tournament this weekend! I can't wait to hear about the results!
