Made the two plus hour drive over to Lake Seminole this morning to do a little pre-fish for next weekend's tourney.  Partly cloudy skies most of the day with light winds out of the south.  Caught just three keepers today - pretty slow - they all came from different locations and all 12-14 inches.  Looks like my brother and I will be junk fishing next weekend.  Hope we get a little lucky!!

Biggest observation today was the lack of hydrilla.  The USA Corps of Engineers must be spraying BIG TIME.  Found very little in the main lake or spring creek.  Did find some up the Flint.  Lake Seminole without hydrilla is a strange sight indeed!!

Put the boat on the trailer at 3pm - the drive home was a long one.

I hate it when I go to Seminole with great expectations and only have a so-so day. Think fishing down south was bad all over. Eufaula was slow on Saturday and a friend fished a Blackshear TX and it was real slow.
COE has really done a number on the Hydrilla, I hope they  realize what they are doing to the fishing there.

Kevin, how bad is Seminole. I read your report and talked to others and they say its bad. Hope this won't mess up Allen's tournament. Twin cities Bass Club is going to fish it

I have not been but will be going Friday.  I have heard all kind of reports.  A friend of mine said he went one day last week and caught 20 and a couple of days later only a couple.  I heard it took over 24 lbs to win the media bass tournament this past weekend and over 34 lbs to win the C & R tournament last month.  Talked to a couple of the guy's in the Seminole Bassmasters Club and they said it had been taking low teens for their tournaments.  Personally I would rather it be a little on the tough side.  It makes it a little more even playing filed.  It take some of the home field advantage away from the locals.  But we all know, they are there somewhere!  See ya Saturday.
Have a good one & thank GOD for it.
