Has anyone been out to King's lake lately? I'm headed there this weekend and just looking for a lil fishing report. Also is there a ramp to put in at besides the resort up there?

Have not been there in a couple years or more - mostly due to limited access.  You have to have a camp site or cabin rental to use the resort's access.  At least that is the way it was last time I checked.  As far as baits/plastics - black and black/blue combos work really well.  I have done fairly well on a slugo there in past as well - reckon any of the darker colors would work.  Get out in the timber and just start easing yourself around.  Have fun!!

To the best of my knowledge,You have to either use the resort or know someone who lives there. If you can't get in there I caught about 15 in just a few hours yesterday morning on Juniper. They were all in the 1 to 2.5 pound range on a speed worm.If you go to juniper watch the stumps.

I figured the limited access thing. I have a lil 10 ft pelican boat, I can push it anywhere, I just need somewhere to park my truck. Anyone know a place? I would really love to fish this lake!
