Jen and I recently purchased a 24' bayliner and both took the safety course and both got over 90%.  I highly recommend this course to all.  Spetro will be able to help you out with the link.  If you boat, do not care if it is a 10 foot jon boat, 16' high powered bass boat, or a 26' lesiure boat, do this test and take it seriously to help everyone out on the water

You'll really find out what you don't know after taking the US Coast Guard Captains Course. Not an easy course by all means. Or cheap. When I took it five or six years ago the basic course was about eighty hours plus a very difficult test.
