When I am searching out bass in shallow laydowns I will throw a light jig with small trailer.  Sometimes black/blue and other times rootbeer/camo.

When working the banks close to cover I like to throw either a jig-n-pig or worm lightly weighted.  Throw up onto the bank and sometimes slowly work the lure into the water and then other times I will bring it in quickly to make a splash.  The bass always dictate.

FishingLURA

This is a fabulous way to show your appreciation, it would make a great Father's Day Gift or just a great treat for yourself. FishingLURA creates original watercolors from your photographs.

Pole Pack

The Pole Pack has two seperators that enable you to create three seperate compartments for your rods. It is durable and well made and would make a great addition to most anyones fishing supplies. It would be great when you are transporting rods as a non-boater and also for those of you that bank and shore fish.

I have found another super lure for skipping under docks and overhanging limbs.  Give the Gambler Ugly Otter a try and be amazed at how well it skips, even without any added weight.

My favorite, rocky structure.  Often you can find me working finesse worms, spinnerbaits, jigs, grubs, crankbaits, buzzbaits, surface plugs, and the list goes on and on.  I have caught SM and LM bass using almost every type of lure on rocks.  The best spots are wherever there is a sharp sudden drop.  You just work a lure right off the ledge and BAM.

On pepper and eel grass flats I slow roll a char./wht. spinner bait just under the surface.
