When fishing brushpiles, I like to use 1/2 ounce jigs to probe the holes in the bruchpile.

when fishing cedar trees at table rock i use a 1/8 oz tunsten weight and a zoom watermelon fish doctor and bounce thru all the limbs.

When fishing lily pads, I like to throw scum frogs and catch bass hiding out in the pad field.

When fishing vegetation, I like to throw a floating worm along the edge of the cover and work the topwater bite for bass.

when fishing coontail grass i will thow a zoom u-tail worm and 1/8 oz tungsten weight,seems like the slender worm dont stick on the vegitation as much.

One of the ponds I fish has alot of duckweed/pond slime thats matted on top, I recently tried fishing a Gambler Flapp'n'Shad on it--worked real well. Using a big 5/0 Hookerz Flippin' Hook, I can cast it far without using any weight. The tail gives enough action the fish can target it and the bait is real soft and thick so they'll hold on to it. I was really impressed with the strike to hook-up ratio. Fish it slow and steady.
