When fishing heavy vegatation like lily pads, I like to pitch a jig and pig into the holes.

When fishing overhanging trees along the shore, I like to skip an ugly otter right up to the shore.

When fishing deep boulders, I like to bounce a crank bait off of the boulders.

When fishing slop, I like to fish a weedless frog over the surgace.

When fishing over rip rap, I like to pitch a wacky rigged senko to the largest visible rocks there are.

     I like to fish a gambler Ugly Otter down the length of a lay down crawling it along teh trunk and over limbs out to the tree top. For sure I'll pull a fish off of it with the Otter.

When fishing boulders during heavy wind, I like to fish a paddle tail worm to the wind swept side.

When fishing weed lines, I like to throw a suspending crank bait that matches the bait fish in the lake along the weed lines, trying to pull the active fish from the weeds.

     I like to skip Gambler Ugly Otter way back up under a dock on sunny days T-rigged with a pegged 1/8 oz. tungsten weight. They just slide across the water it makes skipping easy. Even pitching it, it will skip.

     I like to work a crankbait down laydowns usually a bandit 100 series, put a crankbait wher others are working a spinnerbait.

     A belly weighted Ugly Otter around rip rap doesn't hang up and gives the fish a different gliding look around the rocks.

     I like to run a cavatron buzz bait across grass that isn't topped out to the surface.

      I like to run a Cavatron Buzz Bait around and across stumps and laydowns.

     I like to work jigs around shallow cover laydowns and any kind of wood cover.

I like to flip a worm right to a tree, letting it fall down the side of the tree.

Under the cover of night, I like to fish a cavitron buzz bait around stumps and along shore lines.

Bridge pilings are good structure...flipping a worm to the piling and letting if fall straight down can be productive for both fish that are suspended and for fish that are on the bottom.

Under cover of night, I like to fish a black spinner bait with a black colorado blade along weed lines.

     I like to hop a jig down a series of ledges pausing and shaking it before I pull it off the ledge.

During the summer and fall, working a buzz bait over grass beds is a good way to fish that type structure.

During summer months, working a carolina rigged worm or lizard is a good way to fish humps that are surrounded by deeper water with grass or brush.  I like to cast the rig to shallow water and work it to the deeper areas.

     I like to throw a weightless Senko around brush piles and laydowns if they aren't hitting a T-rigged bait.

     I like to use a Lucky Craft Moonsault CB200 arly in the spring when fish are starting to move up around emering grass.

     Early in the spring before the pads start to regrow I like to run a spinnerbait thru the stems looking for bass that are hanging out there warming up on the dark bottom.
