Steve,

Sorry man.  I couldnt take it anymore.  I am a lightweight.  My reels were malfuctioning and my trolling motor battery was dead by 11:00am.  I would go to a spot and try to paddle my way down the bank and fish at the same time.  I didnt have anyone's cell phone to let you guys know.  There was no use of me staying any longer.  I had 3 good fish on topwater, however my reel messed up and I couldnt set the hook.  My apologies guys.  I am in the process of selling my boat and upgrading so it might be a while before I am on the water again.

If i were having the trouble you were,  I probably would have left early too.  However,  If i had given someone a ride.  I would have stayed till the end and made sure to take them back to their ride.  I was stumped as to why you left my things next to bob's truck.  To say the least I had few choice words to say Sat. that i dont care to post on this site.  If you want to pay your money to fish and cant stay to weigh in,  thats fine, but dont leave someone hangin, when you are their transportation home.  Dont assume someone else wants the burden of taking that person home.

Steve,

I debated to stay or leave.  However, I knew that there were people going by Eglin on their way home.  I am sorry that it was such a burden to get a ride home.  Again, if I had someone's cell phone number, then I would have done some calling to get you taken care of.  Again, I wont be fishing with club for a while anyways, so you have anything to worry about.  I am not being a smarta**, am just trying get you to see my side.  Yes, I may have done wrong, but it was a snap decision.
