Well I planted some tomato plants and got my break lighs fixed this morning so it was time to go check out my slop quarry. Well the pads wasn't up very well yet but there was some slop weeds growing. i started off throwing my frog anyway but after about an hour of no bites it was time to put down the frog  :'( :'( and pick up my senko and start slop fishing. I wanted to try out them alluring Baits 5" saltie worms but after about 15 mints of trying to work with them I changed to my GY senkos. The Alluring worms just didn't work at getting through the slop to good so I put on my senko and was back in busness. I drilled it down through that 2" slop and bam caught this little one

Walked the banks a little further back working the slop on the way and nothing. Saw a spot that just looked like it had to have a Bass in it so worked my senko through the slop and when it started falling bam set the hook on this one  1 lb 8 oz

Worked my way back a little further and saw a spot under a tree keep working my senko through the slop and under that tree and felt the hard smack set the  hook and it took off like a rocket but it was no match for my 30 lb power pro. 2 lb 6 oz

Well that was all I could find that wanted to bite. not to bad for a couple of hours of bank slop fishing  ;D

I'm going to meet up with Karls brother-in-law in the morning around 7:00 AM and show him how to fish the slop Quarry. It sure felt good to catch some Bass under that slop.

Nice Job Lip! Is this the same pond as last year? I may have to drive out that a way and teach them Bass there to eat frogs. Don't they know Frogs are like prime rib! LOL
