Biography-
My name is Damon Hollandsworth.  I was born on June 16th, 1989 in Yakima, Washington. I'm 19 years old and currently reside in Kennewick, Washington. This year I will be attending Columbia Basin College in my second year of my prerequisites for construction management and marketing.  Due to My family having no history in bass fishing, I have had to teach myself, along with the help of club members, internet research, books, and time on the water.
For most my life, I grew up in Kennewick, Washington where I first learned to fish for bass on the Columbia River. I have competitively bass fished for 4 years now, and have had many honorable successes. I have entered in many weeknight and weekend tournaments such as TBF and B.A.S.S. qualifiers. When I was 16 I purchased my first bass boat, a 16 ft. Bass America made by Polar Kraft. This year I purchased my new boat a 1997 Champion 186 dcx with a 175 Mariner that I frequently use to pre-fish and for club tournaments. Currently, I am fishing as a non-boater in the qualifier tournaments, eager to learn as much as I can before I jump into the Professional status tournament fishing. In the 2010 season I plan to fish as a boater for the qualifiers and use my boat to fish the Northwest Bass circuit here in Washington. I belong to 2 bass clubs, the Tri City River Runners and the Columbia Basin Bass Club from which both I have learned a great deal of knowledge.  Presently, my fishing expenses are paid for by my full time job working at Sportsman's Warehouse. Also, I am hoping to receive help from future sponsors.
One thing I feel that is essential with working with sponsors is to have knowledge and extensive use of their product. I can confidently provide promotion, professionalism, product ideas, enthusiasm, and representation of what your company is all about. I feel that I could be an asset to your company and fishing team. In school I plan to pursue a career in Construction Management and minor in Marketing. I have already had a taste of advertisement and marketing in high school with a career, consumer, and connections class which has taught me the basics of marketing, advertisement, and money management.
