Caught a dozen or so today along with some pike and a crappie

Water dropped a foot since yesterday so they weren't where I left them a couple of days ago but I found them

The pebble is the "Key" Lip

Mostly caught them in the back water sloughs away from the bank near contour changes...

Caught a mess on a new to me lure I've been throwing but the shock still ruled the day for the most part. Here the new crankbait I was throwing. Its a Storm Mad Flash Wiggle Wart in Flo Pink Flash

Bought some other colors too but with the Cotton Candy working so well I thought, "Why Not"

I used to have a frog that color that worked great in the open water

But a Northern really liked it and he would not give it back. He also took about 18" of powerpro with him

Pike love pink or any other loud color

Its amazing how quickly they will zip thru 65# braid

They were prolly on the point now right?? i love the falling water in 14 wish i was out catching them today but i was sick maybe tomorrow i will go and give it a try,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I casted off the boat ramp in GI this evening and I was throwing a white terminator and caught 5 northerns and my GF was throwing a hippie colored terminator and caught 2 bass. So the pike definately didn't like the pink tonight.

Everything likes all colors of baits it is whatever you have confidence in and pink is a great color for a lot of stuff

Nope just know that when the water drops that they are there along with about 15 other places on that pool i love the clinton pool for that reason when the water falls they jut load up on certain little spots and you can just flat out whack em
