Brand new Nitro Z-7 (about 6 weeks) used 4 times.  Have noticed small cracks right along edge of transom tie down eye.  Any opinions or advice.  Boat is trailered and driven a total of about 1 mile to and from ramp.  No large bumps or undue stresses on tie downs.  Have started leaving them detached when not running but am very concerned about best action on current cracks.  Call Dealer?  Leave alone, etc?

Definitely contact the dealer and have them look at it. If it's a new boat you should have a problem like that and they need to fix it !!

Thanks for the response.  Called dealer and will take boat over next week for pictures and then wait and see.  Noted another posting from last year, about a 3 month old Triton with similar issues albeit in a different location on the transom.

Back in the early 90's Nitro had some transom issues. I went threw two boats and then the third was great. We has several of us with issues and it was a huge fight to get them fixed. However I have not heard of any transom type issues until now. Hopefully they will take care of it quickly for you.
