Fishing report from MD-DNR board from August 17th.  Not posted on UB board yet.

Beaver Creek - Maryland - trout

Fishing the Beaver Creek Fly-Fishing-Only Area in Washington Countyhas provided some late summer opportunities to still land a few trout.  Look for the vegatation along the banks, and deeper pools of water around sunken timber to land a few of the nice trout still available.  Japanese beetles and grasshoppers offer the best opportunities this time of the year to land one of the few trout still left.

The last couple have been hard fishing with the weather. Targeting bass and throwing topwater 90% of the time while fishing shallow. Caught lots of fish in May and June but the heat and low water have slowed the bite. Fished for 8 hours on Sunday and caught 5 bass all day on a mixture of frogs and twitching an original Rapala.
