I hate when I start to second guess my decision on the water.

~c~   It brings joy to my heart to help a youngster on the water, see him bait his/her hook and assist/watch them bring in that FIRST Fish..................Joy to the World.........

Keep the Rod Tip up and the Hook Sharp

I hate it when I go to set the hook and then hear the snap of me breaking my brand new rod.   :'(

I love it when I have a gameplan going into a tournament.....I go straight for my best spot.....get there first.....and pull a good keeper on my very first cast.

Yes, that has happened to me......once. :P

There is just nothing ( in the area of recreation) that can match the feeling that comes from that tap...tap... Really gets the blood going.

I love it when I take my wife to the lake and the bite is on.  She then proceeds to fall in the lake while landing a fish....then gets back in the boat and keeps fishing for 2 more hours.
That told me I must have married the right woman.  ~shade

Jet skis and casual boaters burn me up! Sorry if that hurts feelings but that is the way I feel. Why? I do not really know just that so many of them are not courtous.

Nothing takes the worlds problems off of your mind like being out on the lake when no one else is around.

I hate it when I pull out of the lake, only to find a ticket on my windshield saying I failed to pay the launch fee......and the ticket itself is less than 6 inches from the launch fee stub in my freakin window ~xyz

Can you not see?  YOu must be blind LADY!!! ~xyz

I wonder how many times the word "backlash" has been used in this thread?

I sure hate it when I get to the lake and get that first big birds nest of the day.  Frustration.

I love seeing the look on people's faces when I drive by on a weekday morning with boat in tow.  They have that sad look in their eyes...knowing that I'll be fishing while they are heading to work.
Vacation days are wonderful. ~sun

I hate it when you get a treble hook in your hand from your one and only favorite crankbait. :shocking:

I love drifitng off to sleep on the night before my annual trip to Lake Fork with my brother.  The dreams that fill my head.....state records will fall tomorrow!!! :)

I hate the wind, trying to keep on fish while working a dock or rocky bank line & getting my boat blown in to either.

Bman

I love that I can't go to sleep because I know I am going fishing in the morning!!!

Bman

To piggyback on what Bman said, I hate it when you get that treble hook in your hand......and there is still a bass attached to it.....OUCH  :shocking:

Its happened to me and the more that sucker kicks around, the deeper that hook goes.  I swear, I about passed out from the pain before my brother got that bass off the hook.

I love it when I can see the excitment in my boys eyes when one of us hook a fish.

Off to bed for me.  Work awaits me in the morning.  I enjoyed reading the replies in this thread.

Good luck everyone.

I love it when my 9 year old son catches more fish than me.....and rubs it in.  He caught 17 bass one day, while I caught about 5.  But I was having a ball just watching him.
Nothing better than that  ;PHO)

I've gotta agree with that!  Anyday my daughter, wife, or mom outfishes me is a great day, especially when they pick out their own lures!  That means they'll be wanting to go again really soon.

I love to stop in local bait shops and see if I can pick up any hard to find or older fishing lures.  Scored a sweet 5-pack of Yozuri lures two weeks ago at one little shop.
