August 16 - What do you love or hate about fishing

I love it when a poacher I've turned in actually gets caught!

I love wading really small streams and finding nice size fish...it always amazes me.

I love fishing in streams in the woods because I never know what animals you might see

Although I love to see kids play, I hate it when they cart garbage from their homes to make a dam across a clean stream and just leave it there for someone else to clean up

I hate how most fishing opportunities in my area are only sunrise to sunset.

What I dislike about fishing is weather. Your all excited the night before to go fishing and when you wake up there`s lightning and rain and you just go back to bed, yuck

I love seeing the lure being brought up beside a piece of structure or overhang and seeing the flash, even before you feel the fish.

I love wearing polarized sunglasses and being able to see the fish hit the lure.

What I like about fishing is telling someone on the water what your doing and they end up catching fish because of it

I love seeing the wildlife in the secluded areas, like a pack of grouse scaring the pants off you as they take off

I dislike fishing cause it cost me 50 bucks in gas every trip, LOL

I hate the possibility of getting bit by ticks while fishing

I love fishing a san juan worm after  in streams.  It makes me happy to creel out in minutes.

I hate hiking over the rocky areas during the warmer months with the possibility of snakes being there...I do it, but that doesn't mean I like that about fishing

I love night fishing from the shore with a fire going and a good meal on the bbq

I hate chiggers...never had a problem with them until I came to Illinois and I hate them

I dislike the mosquitos when fishing at dusk, they are a nuisance when the fishing is picking up

I hate when people are throwing rocks where others are fishing.

I love when a rain comes that muddies up the water a little bit in an area that has been low and clear and the fish haven't been biting...those can be some of the best days fishing!

I love dams that have cold water releases in summer.

I love it when someone comes to your spot after you caught fish and they don't catch any but you keep catching them.

I love watching the sun rise while fishing......a buzzbait blowup is a bonus

I love it when I'm standing high on a bank and I can see a school of steelhead below me in a trough like a squadron of planes off on a mission.

I hate it when you are using the same thing as other people are using and you don't catch anything but they do

I dislike fishing when I`m having boat problems.....it takes away from the fun
