August 16 - What do you love or hate about fishing

I promised a simple one that everyone could post too.

Tonight's contest Topic

Give and example of what you dislike about fishing, things that either upset you or drive you crazy

OR

Give and example of what you love about fishing, things that you look forward too when going fishing or those unexpected events that make the whole day worth it

To qualify you must list your like or dislike and the reason why

List only one or the other (like or dislike) in each posts, the more posts you make the better your chances of winning

Examples:

I hate it when you are launching a boat before the sun comes up and the guy on the ramp in front of you has his head lights on - it's impossible to see when you are backing up the trailer with head lights shinning in your mirrors.

I love to watch an eagle while it is fishing - it's awesome to watch them snatch a fish out of the water.

Your right Mike this should bring out a lot of post  and  Laurie when you click on the link for the rules thread to ask questions it's a dead thread  didn't see anywhere to post a reply  Unless it's past my bedtime and me just over looked it

Ok it's time to start posting 
I love to watch the animals early in the morning while drifting around in the boat and watching the night crittes go to bed and the day critters come out

I love watching the fish break and jump out of the water or bust the bait fish and see all the minnows scamoering to get out of the way

Ah man, Lip beat me to the first post!

I love spending one on one time with my daughter.  We were taking care of our gear and she was looking at the flies I tyed when I was 15 or so.  She asked if I would teach her how to tye flies.  That was awesome!

I hate the  mosquitoes!

Eye don't like it when you are anchored down and them pleasure boaters come zooming by and don't even slow down

I hate the fact that work seems to be always interfering with fishing!

I love the smell of the garlic Ugly Otters!  Makes me hungry everytime I open the bag!

EYE don't like it when fishing from shore and even thought there is all kinds of room and just because you caught a fish next thing you know you have elbow to elbow people on both sides of you

I like a fast boat because it gets me there quicker

I don't like driving behind slow drivers in the left lane enroute to my favorite fishing hole - so get out of my way

I like a hot mug of coffee in hand before starting the fishing day - it's just habit

I don't like jet skiers - especially within casting distance - they only drive by once

I like big bass - especially the ones with their lips around my crankbait

I don't like fishing in a crowd - call it claus·tro·pho·bi·a

I like arriving early and departing late - now is that love of sport or what??

I don't like yellow flies - they interupt my fishing

I like the sound of a buzzbait first thing in morning before the crowds arrive - peace brother peace

I don't like the act of getting out of bed so darn early in the morning - but the early bird gets the worm
