On the reclaimed coal mine strip pits, a gummy minnow "fly" via a casting plug and a small split shot about 12" from the minnow to get it down faster.  I'll try it different types of cover to see which is the most effective.

We have a couple of city parks with fishing ponds.  Haven't fished them yet, but I definitely will this fall when it cools off.  I'll try using my Yozuri Pins Minnows first since they catch about anything, especially slab bluegill and bass.

I'll be heading to the pits this weekend and I'm going to try a locust lure.  They're starting to drop out of the trees around here...

I'll have to put my thinking cap on...

I hope I win the Kipawa prop!  I need to get my old Minn Kota 65 up to snuff for the canoe so I can get out to the bigger fish!

Lake Fork, late fall with the winter feed approaching I'll follow the fish back into Mustang Bay and just knock em dead with a rattle trap or surface bait

I like to use either a floating Rapala, or a Skitterpop along the weedbed edges in the local ponds around my home in northern Illinois.  It works well for the evening bite, I rarely get skunked, and I fish almost everyday!

 >:( Son of a ..... I forgot about this. Looks like most people hang up the gear come fall. There are only 13 pages compared to the 40-45 that there usually is. Oh well. I'll have to think of answers for next weeks contest.  ~shade Maybe not. I have to wait for the topic first.  :'( Good luck to everyone.
