Piedmont Lake

Texas rigged tubes around rocky shores for smallies.  I use Venom Tubes, maybe up to a 1/4 ounce sinker, I don't peg often.

Eric

Warpath

Alum Creek Res.

Throwing a 3/8 ounce bubblegum spinnerbait along rip rap shore at dam and Cheshire for smallmouth.  Water has to be slight to no stain, others burn it, I slow roll it.

The wallkill river in Sullivan orange county ny is a great smallmouth fishery.  This first time I fished it was an overcast day in late august.  The magic lure that was catching smallies by the bucketful was a simple round jig head and a yamamoto 3" curly tail grub
So many lures, so little time.

Warpath

O'shaughnessy Res.

Finesse worms, 4" Berkley Power worms or RI Flirt worms 5 -inch around wood.  I use a light sinker and a light wire hook.  I shake the worm at times and other times I let it sit over so still.  I like green anything (watermelon, pumpkin, roadkill).  Do they make other colors for plastics, and why?   ;D

Eric

Warpath

East Fork Res.

Main lake points, carolina rigging a green pumpkin Yammato spider grub.  3/4 ounce to 1 ounce brass with a 1 to 2 foot leader.  Add Megastrike and watch them walk around with the bait.  The higher the sun the deeper I fish it.

Eric

Warpath

Clear Fork Reservior

Pitching spinnerbaits around submerged bushes.  White in the morning and chartreuse later in the day.  Usually half ounce, with a grub trailer (usually a 3 inch Berkley power grub).

Lake Erie

No boring drift fishing here!!!!!!!

Find a cut, throw a pink floating worm around the rocks and hold on for the big smallie action!!!!!  The cut's gotta have wind blowing on it.

Lipless crankbait worked around rip rap I like to really crank it fast. When water temp finally gets just below 80 degrees. Lick Fork area on Patoka lake, Indiana. Evening with clear blue skies.
I will face the fact it is an addiction!
Special thanks to Vicious Fishing It was an awesome year! I hope 2009 is even better!

Last one  ;) I love pitching jigs red/black 1/8 oz ultralight jigs into lay downs and bushes this time of year. Works best when the water is stained. I use a 3" pumpkinseed trailer. I use baitcasting gear and ten pound test. Works well on the Ohio river when targeting small mouth. Weather dosen't appear to be a factor according to my log.

Last one honest this time!! lo Fishing wind blown points in mid day on the main lake. I use a 1/2 ounce spinnerbait in a shad type pattern fishing it very hard and fast.. Monroe Lake Indiana, in the 5 to 8 foot range. Weather " a storm is a brewing!"

The late summer/ early fall here in SE Florida is still all about the weeds.  The Bass are moving shallower so ripping a rattltrap or my current favorite a rattlin rapala through the weeds is a really fun pattern to fish and can be very effective.  this will work in any weedy lake.  firetiger is my fav color.
So many lures, so little time.

In late summer as the weeds start to die back, pitch a white single bladed colorado spinnerbait just under the surface so their their is a wake.  the bass will rise out of the weeds and bust it.
So many lures, so little time.

One of my favorite patterns for late fall farm pond fishing is the beetle spin fished more slow than fast.  Never know what your going to catch.  Also a great lure and time of the year to take newbies out for some outdoor time.

Night fishing during the late summer at Big Hill Lake in Kansas throwing a buzzbait or a black spinerbait is a great way to beat the heat and catch fish.

In the early fall taking a large shad or lifelike pattern crankbait and throwing it where timber runs along rocks is usually a good place to find fish in any lake in Kansas.

I like fishing a Sinko wacky style along shallow grass beds and shady areas, preferably willow shade trees, let it sink to the bottom and stare twitching it as you real, works in any lake I go to or river system although it works better in eddies than in current. Ohio River tributaries are best, working it out over shallow flats.

BassMedicsTM (a division of OSP, LLC) was formed for the sole purpose of designing and marketing products to improve bass health after release and to maximize the bass fishing experience for anglers. With this in mind, we set out to design a revolutionary catch and release formula for use whenever bass (or other game fish) are placed in livewells or holding tanks. Many current livewell treatments leave bass lethargic and do not replace the energy lost during landing that is necessary for game fish to resume active feeding and metabolic functions. BassMedicsTM introduces RejuvenadeTM tournament formula replenishing solution for year round livewell and weigh-in tank treatment for bass.

Bass Stalker

"The unique design of Bass Stalker Jigs is the result of over ten years of experimentation with hook styles, head shapes and skirt materials. As a tournament angler, I understand the importance of a quality bait. That's why I've chosen to make my jigs with only the finest components, like Mustad Needle Point Hooks and the best in silicone and rubber skirt materials.

We all know how effective jigs are at any depth range for catching largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass. Their versatility makes them the first choice in pursuit of both a quick limit and the fish of a lifetime. My jig simply takes a great thing and improves it with the STALKER Concave Head Design. The improved presentation qualities of the Bass Stalker Jig have helped me earn over 100 tournament wins and top 5 finishes from the Potomac River to the St. Lawrence River", says Perry Haas.

Nothing beats the old spinnerbait oin the Fall. A bright blade on clear days and a dark blade on overcast days. I fish it in the heaviest grass and pads I can get it through.
Any lake.
