On the reclaimed coal mine strip pits, I'm getting the best response from deep jigs with Zoom trailers in white and black/blue.

On the reclaimed coal mine strip pits, when it finally cools off and the fish come back into the flats, I'll be throwing a surface popper in blue/chrome with a red front treble and a bucktail dressed "bleeding" rear treble.

On the small fishing ponds in the area, I plan to try various popper, bug, and streamer flies on spinning gear with casting bobbers and tippets.  Before I make the jump to full-fledged fly fishing!

T-rigged 10" plastic worm, black or brown worked parallel and very close to the shoreline trying to imitate the swimming action of a small snake, works well at mid-day

I don't have time to post this week like I usually do so short post to get my name in hat.

Lake Seminole - favorite early fall pattern is shad crankbait between grass and timber edges.  Really it is anything that works, but prefer the above.

A red and black jig with a matching berkley super chunk hopped accross the bottom. This works well for me in rocky lakes. I used this technique often on the wallkill river in upstate ny.
So many lures, so little time.
